Making the Net Work

CrossPulse Consultants is an evolving network of individuals with cross-disciplinary, cross-domain expertise who are committed to helping empower Black communities to speak and act from places of responsibility, power, and authority in contrast to deficiency and victimhood. We are presently formalizing structures to encourage, enable, facilitate, and support collaboration amongst participants in the CrossPulse network. These structures are based upon two fundamental premises.

Groupmind is a genius. True collaboration is a synergistic process. Creative endeavors done collaboratively result in outcomes that would not be possible to achieve through solo thought and effort.

Generally speaking, finding solutions is not a conceptual problem, it is a “connectual” problem. There is an abundance of ideas, energy, and resources in our communities. As we learn to connect intentionally, respectfully, and strategically, we begin to tap into, as Nelson Mandela articulated, our “power… beyond measure.”

As a CrossPulse consultant, you will have access to services such as website hosting, accounts and billing support, marketing of your work, and drawing upon a network of professionals for collaboration around projects and initiatives. We are in the process of identifying and implementing “knowledge management” tools and structures, which have been referred to as “fifth generation” organization practices, in that they systematize creativity and innovation via a network effectively communicating with itself.
